This panel will deal with the ramifications employees may be faced with when they engage in actions that they believe are necessary to “protect” their rights in the work place. Examples include employees who take records from an employer believing it will prove their employer’s wrongdoing; and employees who use electronic media, while not at work, to “blow the whistle” or to criticize their employer. We will hear opinions about these and other ethical dilemmas from an experienced judicial officer as well as seasoned plaintiff and defense counsel. One hour of CLE credit for ethics.
